Default Gauge Cluster

Does anyone know if a type r gauge cluster will go right into a 93 si hb?

It'll fit, but takes cutting to make the cluster fit. You'll also need to rewire the whole thing. IMO, it's not worth it if you're putting it in a civic dash. It looks like ***.

yeh it's gonna take some cutting, personally it's not even worth it,but they do look nice,i've seen it done in a 92 4door, but it didnt have the plastic cover on it, just get an sirII cluster, theyr'e plug and play. even the guy said after he did it he didnt really care for it.

i wish i woulda talked to you before i got my ls cluster. too much fab for the civic dash, i didnt cut my cluster cuz im just gonna get a teg dash later.

mine looks pretty decent considering i just cut the dash bezel. the only part i cut off the cluster is the top tab which i dont think will matter when i install the teg dash. if i had done more planning it would be better, but i can live with it for now. the gaps are about the same as when u cut the cluster cuz most ppl dont reinstall the plastic.
