Top modling for rex

Default Top modling for rex

when i bought my rex, there was no top molding (the long black strip above the hatch)

i was wondering where can i get it online...

or how do i pull it out if i were to go to a junkyard and how would i put it back, what kind of adhesive would i use or it just clips in

If you are talking about the trim peice above the glass of the hatch
it clips in...But...if you try to get one off a junk yark you'll probably break it...just go to Honda and order one...its like 18 bucks i think.

Yea after buying crap used parts on ebay i just bit the bullet and ordered a bunch of parts i needs (sunroof tray and almost every single part in the sunroof {theres alot},front fenders) from Honda...
You buy it once and you know its gonna fit/work.

I took mine off last week to strip the original paint that was flaking off. I used a wide flat screwdriver and 5-in-one tool (kinda like a stiff paint scraper) started on one side and eased it off. It just snaps onto about 5 or 6 plastic clips below. The smaller, lower one does not snap on or off, but rather slides towards either side of the car.

i had a top molding and i was sanding it then when i was done, i left it in the garage....dad ran over it
