Default best spring rate for a eg hatch??

Im thinking about getting some Omni coilovers (the one with sleeves) and i was wondering what would be the best spring rate for a eg hatch. I daily drive it.

There is no "best", especially for the street. There is such a wide range of variables, and many are more important than the shock and the spring rate alone. What is the best music? What is the best food? Gather as much info as you can from other peoples preferences ir go with a brand that you can trust for their engineering decisions.

Here is a current one that is essentially the same thing: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1334855

I thought Omni only had a choice of two rates or something?

well the Omni has comes with a spring rate of 448lbs front and 336lbs rear. Is that too stiff? Im asking if thats gonna make my ride really stiff and bouncy with kyb shocks?

no, that's about right if you're making a daily driver out of your car. Personally I'd switch the front springs to the back and vise versa.

Everyone has their own threshold of what is too harsh. Some people don't mind having their teeth rattled loose while others like the ride of a Cadillac land boat. So it's really hard to answer that question.
