Skunk2 Intake Manifold Question for b16a2 swapped civic
Thinking about buying the skunk2 IM for my b16a2. Some ppl tell me it wont make a difference from my stock b16 IM. They say its recommended to get an Apexi VAFC if i were to get the skunk2 IM. Is there any dyno sheets on the skunk I/M? Should i bother getting the skunk2 IM (noticeable gain) Thx in advance.
Intake manifolds are much more responsive on a modified engine than a stock one. Most likely no, it wouldnt be the most effective cost/power gain that you could do, however it will undoubtedly flow better than the stock manifold. I would be interested to see some dyno charts as well..
Here is a link to the skunk2 website where they have a dyno chart on a B18.

I like mine. Of course you won't notice it toooo much, but once you start modding, it will make a lot more of a difference.
