Default Emergency brake light during hard turn?

this has just been happening like 3 times this month. I was driving today on beachnut going east, and turning on hwy 6 going south. Hwy 6 is a 7 lane road with a center lane, here is what i did. I took off really hard and got some wheel spin and took a right and jumped on the center lane on hwy 6. When I did that I felt the car lifted in a way, and the E-brake light came on. Then when i got the car going stright again and the tranny shifted up the light went off.

I thought it was the "wtf you cant drive light" and brake.... light..

The thing is i wasn't even braking when i took the turn, here im wondering if this is a sign that somethings wrong in my system, and warning me to stop and cheak?

Chances are it's nothing but the brake wire (just a single wire coming off the e-brake assembly) shorting to ground...

I recently did an alarm install in my girlfriend's Eclipse, and forgot to tape off the door trigger connection, and when she steps on it hard from a stop, the wire will move ever so slightly, and touch ground, and the "door open" light on the dash comes on for a sec...

Really shouldn't be anything to worry about... It's not your car's way of telling you to drive better...

no chances are its low brake fluid. check your master cylinder and make sure the fluid is up to the min line at least but it should be closer to the max line.

it is on the master cylinder cap . .it is part of the cap ..lke v4 says most likely u are low on brake fluid if so i would chk the brakes for wear cause as the brakes wear the fluid on reservoir gets lower and chk to make sure u got no leaks as well ,,,,,if the master is full most likely u need to replace the reservoir cap

As part of an oil change that I give to customers I top off the rest of the fluids for free, all fluids that is except brake fluid, as desert said, low brake fluid equals low brake pads, get them inspected, give the customer an approximation for next inspection if pads are good and make a note of it in your history so they may be contacted for another inspection even though the fluid is still in the good range second time around. NOTE: Not all float levels are perfectly calibrated to come on at the LOW level, sometimes right in the middle of the good range so check it out. Light coming on in a turn, gravity or actually G forces are acting on the fluid in the reservior, fluid goes high on the side, low in the middle, the float is smaller in the middle and the level goes down and so does the float, hence the light.

On the new Accords it's built into the master cylinder. Got a master cylinder ordered for an 03 because the switch is bad.
