Default Need a daily driver

I'm torn between a civic Si with the b16, del sol V-tec, and CRX Si. Which would be the best daily driver, commute to school 40 miles each way 5 times a week, and will go fast for cheap. I know that the civic and del sol are essentially the same car, but is there a huge weight difference. I'm sorry for my lack of knowledge but at the moment I have american and european, so Honda is new to me.

well if its just a daily driver id go with the del sol...due to it being cheaper and is going to save u more gas...if u wanna be faster than that find an eg or del sol with a swap already so u dont have to deal with it since u dunno much about hondas...just my .02 good luck with ur purchase

I'm not interested in a swap, but it looks like the EG might be the best bet. Is the del sol that much cheaper? I'm looking to spend as little as possible. Less money spent on that the more to spend on other toys.

if the rex is in mint condition i would go with that it is the lightest and gets the best gas mileage just dont expect to pick up tons of chicks with it! lol and it will be the fastest with the proper swap

are you from washington!?!?! well you should consider weather when picking a daily driver, id go with the civic since del sols and crx isnt really great in snow.

Weather isn't an issue as I have a wrangler. And my flashy car is a Crossfire, I was just looking for something to throw miles on and toy with other "fast" imports

I would personally go with the Civic, Just becuase i own an integra and a del sol and i take the integra a lot mor places just because i can have more passengers if needed and i have a lot more space to throw things! Another reason is because i have 254,000 miles on the integra and i dont mind putting more miles on it! Good luck with what you find!

The del sol is nice though as you can take the top off, but it kind of sucks in the rain if you find one that has a leaky top!
