Default How to tell the Difference Between the ITR motors

Ok my brother just recently got an ITR motor from the reputale company. Anyways, i went down to the shop, and looked at the motor. Everything is fine and eveyrthing.

A week later, my brother tells me its a JDM Spec R ITR motor. First thing that hit me is that (i thought it was a USDM ITR Motor) cause i remember the Vin plates on the block and Tranny, the rivits were grinded down. Cause my buddy told me that JDM engines dont have Vin plates. Then i look at a pic my bro took and it says B18C on the engine stamp. I research and a B18C is the Integra SIR motor(180HP). The Valve cover is red.

Now how can i really tell if its a JDM ITR or JDM SIR??

I thought I might not even be JDM ITR
It might not even be ITR
It might not even be JDM SIR
It might be just a GSR
Worst, it could be stolen

any need some inputs thx guys.

First off b18c could be JDM gsr or JDM ITR. Look for the green paint near the dizzy. Also look at the intake manifold. If your wondering ITR vs. SIR the manifold will be a dead give away. The head code will be PR3-x where "X" is any number 1-4. Hope that helps
