hey guys i heard you can put a vafc in a non vtec car. has anyone done it before? i heard people do it just to do like fuel adjustments and stuff but they just leave the vtec wires off. well i have one laying around and would like o try it if possible. i know they have safc but i only have a vafc laying around

 

i was wondering the same thing i have vafc and i am wanting to use it with my b18b turbo set up .

 

VAFC = VTEC Air Fuel Controller it would work for fuel adjustments

You might want a SAFC if it is straight LS, but the SAFC would be cheaper.

SAFCs are cheaper but still a waste of money IMO. you could use a vafc if you really wanted to. You could use the vtec control wire for your NOS!!! or hook it to your horn!!

 

I had a vafc with my b20 and it worked fine.
