help identify this noise
i have a noise coming from my front right wheel area.
it is definitely:
-metal to metal contact, squeaky squeaky
-sounds like it's spinning
-speed dependent, gets worse at higher speeds and goes away under 15mph
it is definitely not related to:
-throttle
-gearbox
our best bet is the passenger front wheel, but what can make the noise? the car has 16k miles, the lugnuts are torqued to 80ft/lbs, and i'm using stock pads. could it be related to wheel bearings, brake dust, broken caliper, etc? i haven't look at the wheel directly; i was under the car adjusting the intake and i didn't see grease or obviously broken parts.
