I would hate to get flamed for asking but I never heard of doing a seafoam. Is that a type of engine cleaner??

Basically cleans out all the carbon deposits in your engine.

Wheres the noise coming from?...after i used seafoam i heard a crackling noise too, it was coming from around the timing belt...didnt think much of it at the time but next day my timing belt broke ....im not blaming seafoam, but this sounds a bit too familiar, wouldnt want the same to happen to you

I've used BG fuel/ induction system cleaner, pretty good stuff! It gets sprayed in thru the throttle body while the car is running, and then a seperate cleaner goes in the gas tank.

Back to the original topic, sorry I couldnt be of any help.. I'm clueless as to what maybe causing that noise. Good luck.

i wouldnt trust a dealership unless i actually had proof of them changing the timing belt...but just to be safe you should take off your valve cover and do a visual inspection (for watevr thats worth)...if your timing belt breaks while your driving theres a very good chance that you might bend some valves...better safe than sorry right?...i dont think you would want to go through the hassle of repairing and or buying a new head...juss my .2 cents
