The reason for the question is because I've seen people running them. Would it be worth it with minor bolt-ons?

What about having an h22 in your -supposed to be a f22- accord ? maybe that is why my car is acting up. will the vafc work for my motor if I have the correct ecu and such ?

apexi is saying for all SOHC f series, f23 have problem with it because the variable vtec crossover thing, it cause a lag when it does.

BUT it can be done if tuned probably

Why not, doesnt a power FC just substitute your own setting (map) to the ECM, if it is made for a four cylinder then it should work, they are all over Japan. APEXi

u cant use the vafc on a the 4cyl accord vtec motors, because it can only lower the vtec to 3500, and stock is at 2300 or so, therefore you wil not be able to lower the vtec enough

VAFC will not work on a non vtec motor. You can use a safc.

just don't hook up the vtec wire and it will act just like an SAFC, only with less tuning points.

But that defeats the tune, without the vtec pressure you can not adjust the airflow, just view the settings.

correcto, can be used, but not to it's full potential or even what the thing was made for. A VAFC is not needed on a 120hp car... -__-

you are wrong. it alters the MAP VOLTAGE to change your tune not the vtec pressure.

and why the hell do you have to ***** your car for sale in every post? put it in your sig, god damn.
