Default Like a phoenix from the ashes...(B18C1 into EF pics..modem users be patient)

Since this:

Was doing this:

We did this:

Threw this on:

Did this: (I may be building a hybrid, but I'm still from TN..hence the tractor)

So now I've got this:

Its running pretty good now..maybe a little lean (D16 injectors, B16 ecu). I have an exhaust leak where I snapped a header bolt off and I still need to set the timing..should be pretty nice then.

Questions/comments/criticism/prayer requests/song dedications appreciated.

Not sure exactly. I was racing ( ) an Eclipse one night, the motor lost power, and since then it's ran like crap and smoked a lot. Compression was 185/185/0/180. Cylinder #3 had oil all over the place..I gnarled it up some how.

The idle fluctuated from 1-2k, the motor shook A LOT, sounded like a big V-Twin, and had about 2/3s the original power (so with the D16 that would be what...about 7HP? ).

you'll definatly need more fuel for the b18c, rechipping is the way to go... plus if you are using a JDM ecu it reads to 02 sensors, which if not connected right will cause driveablity problems......

btw. i can sell you DIY kit or rechip your ecu

Is there any clearance problems with hood? I've heard because of the greater deck height, the motor might kiss the hood...

not really sure if that's a problem anymore with all of the bolt in kits...

eg6: It's a ZDYNE chipped PM6 with the B16 program. The only wire I had to run was for VTEC. I plan to get a FPR and a VAFC soon anyhoo..should this remedy my fuel problem?

fowler: No clearance problems of any sort yet. It's an old Fiber Images hood so it doesn't have all the support stuff in the center but it fit fine. I even had room to cram my Neuspeed strut bar back in there.

I highly suggest you find a set of B series injectors....they are all 240cc anyways...the D16A injectors are deff too small...

very very sweet swap BTW....should haul azz!!!

are you marked001 from PH?...your car looks familiar?

Um..I'm pretty sure D16A6 injectors are 240cc. My other alternative would be 91 Teg injectors (peak and hold for the obd0 ecu)..they are 240cc also. The part numbers for D16 and B18A injectors are the very same at Autozone and Advance Auto.

Thank ya. It's funny you mention that about marked001..we were both in shock when we saw each others cars but I'm not him. Last I heard his car was stolen.
