b16 hydro tranny converted to b16 cable tranny
I have a b16 hydro tranny and I'm putting a b16 cable tranny on and I was wondering if I needed to change anything with the clutch?
Clutch release bearing is different if you don't already have a new one.
I happen to have a cable b series clutch release bearing for sale....brand new. I was sent the wrong one when i bought my clutch.
$35 shipped
What mounts are you using?

e-mail me the info about the cost and how to pay to th33gamon3@yahoo.com thanx
It really depends on the year of the b16a tranny. If it is 90-91 style then yes your clutch disk is wrong. The hydro trannies have a bigger input shaft then the 90-91 do. The TO bearing is also most likely diffrent because it uses a diffrent release fork.
So it looks like I should just get a whole new clutch. Would that be easier? or is there another option I'm looking for the easiest way to go.

Well if you need to go that route then you'll most likely get a new bearing. If you don't get a new one though................then i have what you need
Do you have the cable tranny already?

Here are all the parts that you will need. Which do you have on your tranny currently? I have the bearing (number 1). If you don't have the spring and fork you can pick them up at acura, or order from here http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org (this diagram is from a 91 teg)
I don't have pics but I could take some and maybe have them up tonight or so (on my way out the door to the beach right now
)Installation is pretty easy and will make sense once you have all the parts sitting there.
Also, you might want to look into that clutch b/c I checked part numbers from http://www.advancedclutch.com and the 90-91 clutch disc is different, but the 92-93 tranny can use any hydro b series clutch.
I'm pretty sure I have all that because the cable tranny I'm putting on has it all but I'm not sure about the bearing you were talking about
