Default cams

i was woundering which cams i should go with. I have a 95 gsr with dc headers, skunk2 intake manifold, AEM cold air intake, and full exhaust in a 92 hatch cx. my buddys were telling me to go with type r cams but they are alittle pricy. any advise would help out alot. i want it to perform awesome on the street but on occasion i want to take it to the track.

If TypeR cams are too pricey for you, you might want to save up some more money first, in case you need to up grade the valvesprings/retainers. An ITR or CTR intake cam brand new is cheap, a used one, dirt cheap, one of the best "bang for the buck" cam upgrades.

hey i'm not from the states and i drive a civic type R! so i could really help u out here however i do have questions of my own...

type R cams are extremely kool....i beat si's and well i dunno if yall have the sir civics but i literally embrass them everyday of my life...these cams are good and i would give u thumbs up on it....however...whenever i come across an evo or impreza these cams only help me until i start to reach the end of fourth gear then i get left behind...as u dont have a type r u would be in a worse condition than me....

i raced civics with stage 1 skunk cams and i still beat them...i have heard that the type R cams are better than most stage 1 cams however i believe the toda spec a cams are better...so i still say go with the type R cams...the CTR cams are wilder and better than the ITR cams

toda spec Cs are the best...they make modified evos and modified imprezas look small....a fren with a ITR had the basics exhaust and stuff and toda spec Cs with toda pistons and retainers timing belt everything that is neccessary and did a 12.4 on toyo proxes T1 S....which is amazing...he beats si's out of vtec...
AEM CAM GEARS BREAK AND ARE NOT WORTH IT!
hope that help yall out

ok!....my questions now!.....i want to go faster too!however toda spec Cs are pricey has anyone here every used the stage 2 jun or skunk racing cams?.....if so give me an idea as too how much everything cost and if it is worth it....thanks in advance...later!

I make about 188hp to the ground and thats pretty damn good with a vfac and full fuel setup. but i would do a search in your case

skunks can work with turbo aps, but if your goin all motor than go with skunk or toda would be the best bet. again do a search and see what comes up in the archive section
