Default Bump Strips

I was wondering how easy it is to remove the side bump strips without damaging my paint. I want to take them off so i can paint them. How are they held on and how easy would they be to remove/put back on?

They are held on with more or less very good two sided tape, you can just peel them off. You will need a special compound wheel made by 3M for your drill. It is about 4 inch in diameter and it is like a big white eraser for your drill. It clings to the sticky tape and at the same time it eats the eraser away too so you may need to buy a couple depending on how much work you need to do. It wont hurt your paint just watch out for the drill head.

i would recommend heating them up and prying it up slowly with a heat gun, that will soften the tape

Very good 3M double sided tape made for automotive stripping.
