Default Door Trim

I have recently noticed that the black trim between the front and rear doors of mt 4 dr accord have started to fade. I have tried using things like vinyl renewer but nothing seems to work. Any ideas how to make it a nice fresh black?

The thing is, i think its too faded for anyhting like that. Theres parts of it that are actually white now...spray paint probably wouldn't be a good idea huh?

Heck try painting it. I would try to find paint made for plastic parts and sand it a little to help the paint stick. What have you got to loose?
