Are this cams to big!
Well I just got the spec.’s for Skunk2 New cams for the H22A. I'm planning on running stage II. But I'm little concern about the lift on the intake cam. Here are the spec.’s on Stage II. Intake Cam 267' duration and .505 Lift. Exhaust 274' degrees duration and .465 lift. Here are stage I spec.’s Intake- 266' duration .475 lift, Exhaust- 262' duration and .436 lift. Do you guy's think stage II cams are too big! Thanks
those numbers are for the stage 3 according to this thread:

skunk2 made a mistake on their website also. the stage3 specs are listed as stage2 and stage2 is listed as stage1.
i'll let you know dyno numbers on those cams soon

go to http://www.superhonda.com/forum/show...?threadid=1962 for the real specs. the stage3 cams are the ones with the .505 lift...skunk2 messed up on their website
BE CAREFULL! at about .500 lift the cams will "fall" off of the rockers. They can still be used but there have been oiling issues related in my experience. The leading edge will actually scrape off the oil off of the cam and cause heavy wear. They are for a race application.

I tried comparing the skunk2 stage 2 (from website) against crower stage 2 and they we're so much bigger. And I call Group A (Skunk2) and ask them if the intake lift (.505) would cause any problems in the street, and the guy(skunk) said no problems. Now that I know those spec.’s are wrong, I'll just compare it to the first one’s (the real stage 2) to other companies. Thanks you guy's just save my engine!!
