Default random high rpm revving

I have a d16y8 in my crx with the ignition timing fully advanced and im running an MSD RPM Activated Switch. Right now the switch isnt even pluged into the dizzy, or the vtec solenoid, but it is getting power from my radiator fan switch. When I drive it full throttle to the rev limiter then shift (let off gas, push in clutch) the car still revs out and it gets dangerous. I can put it in 5th gear and let off of everything and the car still pulls. My only guess is to unhook everything and put the timing to stock, any ideas?

I have a great idea. Shut your mouth. In my old CRX setup I was killin B16 CRXs all day with my sohc. 14.7 on bald tires. Id love to go dohc if I had the $$$, but right now i'm setup for sohc. As for the advanced timing, higher top end. Advance and retard yyour ignition timing and feel the results buddy.

I thought about it alot, and I know that pushing in the clutch should have nothing to do with the throttle going up. I could literally put it in 5th after it acted up and push in the clutch like 5 times and watch it rev up 5 times. I checked everything over and I made sure that little rubber boot thing on the throttle cable was secure and it hasnt given me problems since.....now my bad compression is another story, time for another engine swap.
