I searched and didnt come up with nothing except cv axles.

Ok, well i replaced pass side axle b/c boots were torn and it made a lotta clunking noises at low speeds and turns etc..I used a re-man'd axle and as soon as i put everything back together i STILL here noises , except this time im getting different sounds. I figured i was given a bad axle so i installed another one. Same thing!


Now, the the boot that is connected to the outer tie rod end on the rack and pinion is torn and there is some grease seeping out; could this be the culprit?


I can hear the noise after turning the wheel to furthest to left or right AND then backing it out into opposite direction. I included a vid so you could hear for yourselves.


Tie rods, lower ball joints, rack n pinion i all gotta check.
I recall turningthe wheel while the wheels were off the ground but i didnt hear anything.

I guess theyre just cheap *** axles. Never again will i buy reman'd axles.

 

the noise is mast likey the wheel bearing i had a integra to do that
