Default VAFC Tuned in GSR will it make a difference?

95 gsr I am debating if I should get my car tuned or not? Right now I/H/E, ADjustable Fuel Regulator, adjustable cam gears and VAFC, I want to get my car tuned with the VAFC will it make any difference in power wise and because tunning does get $$$ like $120 per hour, I have not had a car tunned before too so is it worth it and I am not expecting huge gains but I was thinking tunning it I can get 5-10 more horse power am I correct or not, any opinions will help my thinking..

I had about the same mods when I got my first VAFC tune. It didnt make much of a difference, but at least you know you wont burn up from being too lean/be wasting gas from being too rich/you will get a more linear powerband instead of peaks and dips/usually will have a smoother idle...

Might as well get a basic tune done... for a bill or 2 after dropping a few grand on your ride... id say it is the most overlooked thing.

5-10 HP from tunig bolt ons... NO WAY, unless you are sooo far out of tune right now it isnt running right. Id say you get an extra teggy or 2 at the wheels in the high end and a fer more ft/lbs throughout your midrange.

Its like when you run track... you can always run the race and finish, but how many times will you be able to run it without extreme fatigue without a training plan and some nutrition...

in my opinion, i will not alter the vtec just simply for a bolt on...id prolly wait to have some cams and other stuff...at least if ur tuning them, u might as well just tune it once when its fully complete because there is not much to tune on the car...

So basically the car will just run smoother then right...I was planning to get some ITR cam shafts in the spring but wanted to get it tuned and head out to the track and then tuned again when I get the cam shafts to see how much 1/4 time difference it made...
