That is the ECU pinout wire that you need to splice into. Check the Helms manual for it, or go to:

If you get a gauge cluster from an Si of the same dash style ('88-'89, or "90-'91), it is plug and play. I have a '91 Si cluster in my '90 STD hatch.

OK, since you don't want to goto B15, wire it up to the negative side of the coil, or, run a wire to the distributor. Goto http://www.autometer.com and they should have instructions there, as well.

I recommend not getting a monster tach if that's what you're thinking of, not that you asked or care. I just wanted to give you some food for thought before you spend the money.

A). They're overkill
B). They scream Break in to my car
C). They're annoying after about 3 weeks of driving because they're overkill.
D). They give the V8 guys something to laugh at you for even though your car uses a lot more of the tach than most of theirs.

That's just my opinion though. Pretty much everone that I know that isn't driving a rice mobile or a race car has gotten rid of them. They're just a little too flamboiant (sp).
