HOW DO I INSTALL A TACK?
if you know the easist way to install a tach please let me know i have a 91 civic dx hatch thanks alot i know you have to tap the shift light into a power source would the clock plug work i dont have a clock in my car put the plug for it is there do you know witch color wire i have to cut and splice thanks! thought id ask before i went out and bought a tach!

That is the ECU pinout wire that you need to splice into. Check the Helms manual for it, or go to:

i herd even on the dx that there is a wire in the plug for your guage cluster for a tack even though its not being used? is this true has anyone herd of it can i splice in there!!!

OK, since you don't want to goto B15, wire it up to the negative side of the coil, or, run a wire to the distributor. Goto http://www.autometer.com and they should have instructions there, as well.
ok ill go ecu i just dont think i have enough wire to go that far and what is b15 i know its a wire but witch one im a newbie to wiring! and i will go to my coil but where is the wire!!!!
I recommend not getting a monster tach if that's what you're thinking of, not that you asked or care. I just wanted to give you some food for thought before you spend the money.
A). They're overkill
B). They scream Break in to my car
C). They're annoying after about 3 weeks of driving because they're overkill.
D). They give the V8 guys something to laugh at you for even though your car uses a lot more of the tach than most of theirs.
That's just my opinion though. Pretty much everone that I know that isn't driving a rice mobile or a race car has gotten rid of them. They're just a little too flamboiant (sp).
