ok, i thought this would be easy, and with the use of some common sense, i could figure it out, but i have had no luck, i have a 96 cx hatch, and i bought an ebay cai, but am only going to the half connected to the throttle body for a sri, but i cant figure out how to get the black box attop the intake mani, i found one bolt, but its still IN there, also, there was a sensor that hooked up the the air box....but now with the intake, there is no place to put it, where does that go, thanks

You might have gotten the wrong intake, the sensor needs to go in the intake and they do make them that way.

 

what will happen if i dont use the sensor

 

and can i just drill one in

That intake isn't compatable with the sensor on the obd II cars.

 

i thought so......, o well, i jury rigged it so it mounted like a y8 mani, i hooked the intake to the black air box, and just kept the sensors where they are....on the black box, but i just recently bought a y8 mani, so the air box will be eliminated, so can i put a hole into the intake and place the sensor there????
