Hid kit upgrade?
Hey guys, question, which Hid upgrade kit is good? I want quality over cost. Also I want reliable, because i've heard bad stories about some. Also are HID kits easily installed? Or pain in the ***, bring to a dealership to do kind of project lol?
What is the estimated life of a HID setup? Thanks guys
Markus.

I dont know alot about HID kits but this site might help you out with what you are looking for. http://www.xenondepot.com/

I have JDM HID ones. They are bright and very clear. plus you get black housing headlights. too problem with using non hid headlamps is that they shine all over the place since the beam pattern is not made for HID.

I have Xenon Depot 6500k. They're damn nice. Sure you'll get glare because they're not retrofit, but they're brighter than oem halogens and look DAMN NICE!!!
If you're worried about blinding others, aim them down a bit.
Retrofits are definitely the way to go. But here's the catch. I got my kit (moderately difficult to install, would not recommend to do alone if you haven't done it before) for a little over 300 shipped. To do a retrofit, it'll cost about 700 AT LEAST, and could go up to a g.
Sure, if I had the cash I'd do it. But for the extra cash you can have a lot of other **** too.
