How would a 18" rims w/ 225/35/R18 Perform on a 01 Civic?
speedometer is the last thing ur going to need to worry about.
because with a 18x8.5, you will rub rub rub rub constantly. even if u get something with a huge offset. it might be workable with lots of camber, a wierd offset, and if u roll ur fenders a lot.
in my opinion, it will look ugly as **** and u will get less tire on the ground because of the crazy camber angle you will need. stick with 16's or less on that car. 17's are already big. i highly doubt ur running a 15 inch rotor.

i saw a lot of 01 civic w/ 17's but it looks kinda small... that is why i was thinkin of putting 18's... maybe its the tire specs that makes it look small but im not sure... because the 01 civic has a huge fender space thats why it makes other size rims looks small...
In most cases larger wheels will exagerate the fender gap so larger wheels will not make it go away. If you want to get rid of the gap then drop it and put some 15-16's on it.
My mistake... its 18x7.5 and when i checked the tire calculator, the 18's is 1% smaller than the stock size. Thanks for the infos though...
