Which intake do you prefer... Injen cold air intake. AEM cold air intake. AEM V2 intake.??

Injen is not as loud as AEM. MY friend's got an INjen in his type s and my aem short ram is way louder in my ls.

sounds like it's almost 50/50 when it comes to injen and aem...but to sum it up...

Injen = More HP gain, more expensive

AEM = Less expensive, better sounding

yet the horsepower gain isn't that big of a difference...I believe they both weigh the same too...

i believe the injen comes with a replacement water bottle and u have to do less modification to install it. heaps of info on both intakes at forums.clubrsx.com.

if u can afford it, i prefer mugen airbox.

AEM now comes with a replacement washer bottle as well. Bottom line is there really isn't much of a difference between intakes, whether they are sri or cai. You won't notice much of a difference between 3hp.

question on intakes... anyone have an '05 EP3 si w/ and aem short ram intake?

if so do you ever experience a popping nosie when you punch it going from 1st gear to 2nd?
