Default How to test PCV system?

I am trying to hunt down my oil burning problem. I pulled the PCV valve, and it seems to flow in one direction only (the right way ) But, when I try crimping the tube, I don't hear a click.

So, I wonder in the tubing into the crank case is blocked. Is there an easy way to check this? Without pulling the oil filter (just changed it!) or the intake manifold?

Thanks!

Cliff notes: how do I check the PCV valve to crank case tubing for blockage?

if you dont hear a click its bad...wont burn oil crazily but will let a lil oil thru you valves into the motor to burn up....either way it needs to be replaced...try it and let us know how it goes
