Default Trailing Arm Problems!! HELP

Okay, so about 3 months ago I toko my car to NTB to get it aligned. They tell me that the passenger rear trailing arm is bent and that it isn't the bushing but the actual arm is bent.

So after saving some money up, I go to a junkyard and buy a clean trailing arm off of a car that had a frontal accident so the back was mint starting from about the two front doors (4 door like mine). I buy the part and I take it to a mechanic and they install it.

Today I went to Firestone to get an alignment and they tell me that my passenger rear trailing arm is bent and they said they're 100% sure its not the bushing. Whats going on? What would you do in my situation? I'm very broke and very pissed.

Thanks for any advice.

Were you hit? It seems starnge that your trailing arms would bend at all unless you were hit VERY hard on the side or the rear.

nope... I checked the carfax again yesterday and this car has never been in any sort of accident. I haven't been hit since I've had this car. I saw the trailing arm too, thats some pretty ******* thick metal, looks hard to bend. I'm really confused.

Did you compare the one you bought from the wrecking yard to the one they said was bent? I would make them show you were its bent, then take a pic if you can, this just doesnt sound right if the car has never seen some heavy damage. Do you have the other bent one you can shoot pics of?

How much are they charging in labor for the TA swap?

here are pictures of the trailing arm that NTB said was bent and so they couldn't align it. The other one I bought from the junkyard looked just like this. It doesn't look bent to me. Whats going on????

A trailing arm is much easier to bend than you might think. If you hit a curb for instance it can bend it pretty good.

I swear I have never hit a curb, ran over a big rock or anything of that nature.

I need some suggestions. what would you do if you had this problem and you wore broke as hell? lol
