i searched and found a couple of started topics in the archives with no answer....

my shifter has the light on it that shows what gear it's in (it's an automatic) .... that light is out ... what do i have to pull to replace that bulb? the whole console?

 

You should be able to tear it apart in half an hour, there are probably scress between the seat area too, open the glove box area in the console and there will be screws under the felt too.
