mods..
stock car, 1st time at the track driver..with some 185/60 cheap tires on stock si rims.

the first run i redline at 6500 and shift, the second run i took it to 6900 and shift, there was little different..

he says that he has never ran at a quarter mile track but in a 1/8 track he runs 9.8-10.0 all day long...i cant put it any simpler then that

 

this was a sohc zc, but my d16a6 feels a lot stronger

 

you can break into the high 15's with better launch. work on that. stock SI's are rated at 15.8

 

if you have the zc still... you should consider swaping your ZC rods and pistons... Or if your looking to sell the zc hit me up

i hate when people do that...... read the entire post before u start responding................i think i should be able to run anywhere from mid 15's to low 15's in my crx but with dohc zc you should be running close to what I run.........u have sohc zc correct? what tranny?

 

i am runnin the stock si tranny..i shift to forth before the 1/4 mile ends..

 

its a decent time for a sohc zc
