Anyone know why my D16A6 wont go past 4,000 rpm...? It's got a stock ECU PM6 and I also try the PM8 ECU too but that will only let me go up to 3500 Rpm and nothing higher. You think it could be the some wiring problems...? I've checked everything and it seems to be koo.. and no engine check light either. Any ideas guys...? Thanks!

Yep. 110% for sure.. The ecu is not even blinking at all and it sucks to have a 4000rpm rev. limiter!

 

well is this a swapped d16a6? or was it already in the car adn this is a new problem? tell us more

 

It's a swap... just to get it running for now to get tabs and smog test, then another swap later, but i still want this D16 to run right tho. Having to shift at 4k rpm is fucken weak! I even changed the distributor too and same ****.
Also, when i got car the guy had it before me was using MSD and some other ****, so that might be the problem...?
