Engine wont redline

Default Engine wont redline

my b16a3 wont redline,it seems to cut off a 7k.i checked all the vaccum lines,the ecu is perfect,dont know what else it could be.im not throwing codes .

well.my friend has a b16a2 on his eg and his would also redline at 7k.so i dont really know what to do,the car pulls fine.

so what happens at 7k? just cuts off and wont increase rpm? does ur ecu have a 7k redline? first thing id try is swap over an ecu u know has a higher redline

that happened to me too check the wiring! my problem was the temperature sensor

so far ive tried a p28,p72,an p30,next is to get one that has no rev limiter

how was the temperture sensor affecting the revs/and after you got it fixed it rev to 8k?thanks

idk it was the plug from the temp sensor and yeah it went to 10k
