Alright, I removed my header a while back, and along with it came my o2 sensor. The wires pulled right out of the plug, I can push them back in, but i dont know what order they go. Can someone please help - thanks

 

The wires should be color coded. Check the wires from the harness and match them together.

 

they dont match

 

if the wires pulled out of the sensor itself, then replace it.
if they pulled out of the harness on the car, then I'd suggest finding someone with the same exact car and match up the color codes that way.
someone here may be nice enough to take a pic for you.

THIS IS A 1.8L 1996 MODEL, you didnt give any info at all, and I mean none. You should put your cars info in your signature block.

This car has two sensors, let me know if this does it, the heater black wires on the sensor are DC so I do not think that it matters which way they go.

 

O2S.......................... Engine Harness

BLACK.......................... GRN / RED
BLACK.......................... BLK / YEL
WHITE.......................... BLU / RED
GREEN.......................... ORG / BLU


BLACK.......................... BLK / WHT
BLACK ..........................YEL / BLK

i had the same problem i just kept tryin a diffrent order untill the cel light went away good luck

let me check it again, i, pretty sure they didnt match up, or i could of figured green to green out lol. Thanks a lot for the help guys.
