Ok after i got my AEM CAI V2 about three months ago, i didnt know that you would have to reset the ecu, untill i saw a user (whoever YOU are very appreciated)who posted reseting the ecu after some modifications. Now i have seen a gain when i had it but for the last couple of months i guess or take it the intake was getting a lil slow if thats the word, so when i saw the topic i decided JUST maybe that could be a problem, and so i disconnect the (-) battery for about 10 min (i know it take 30 sec, but i had stuff to do)then i came back ready to leave and idle it for 7 min, while chilling in the car. Which leads me to.. when i was driving i did a test on my way back home and punch it and i felt the testimony of reseting the ECU( Hahaha i felt a force) You may say this is pointless to post this, but i'm sharing my enjoyment!!!!

 

thought ecu's were adaptive to that thing, it recognizes more/cooler air it automatically adjusts for it...

at least i thought.

glad to hear you felt the thrust. Your car must be making tons of whp now since you reset the ecu.
