Default Is It Possible to Test an Ignition Coil Out of Car?

Well is it possible? I'm measuring in Ohms so I don't know if there will be much difference when it's installed in the car.

Doesn't matter if it's in or out of the car. Just remember even if the resistance tests are within spec, the coil could still be bad.
