I'm looking into either a S2K or a RSX as my next car. I searched and found nothing on this site about the DC5 ITR swap in the RSX chassis. Has anybody did it? What kind've 1/4 mile times are you reaching? I want to go the turbo route with it, but no until next year.

yeup. actually there's a poll i created floating around. it shows that most people have done the k20a swap.

as for going turbo with the k20a...

that's a big no-no!

Too many ******* pages to read through. All I want is a ballpark 1/4 mile time. I was thinking somewhere around a 13.9 on street tires with around a 2.0 60'.

 

i'd do the research for you, but i'm just too tired and hungry. sorry man.

but yeah, i was thinking somewhere around 14 seconds, give or take a couple 1/10 seconds

Thats my problem too.

 

k20a and k20a2 doesnt have THAT big of a difference..the amount of money you spend on the swap..you can get teh a2 a lot faster

 

you def will not hit 13's with just the swap. i mean, the motor isnt all THAT different. think 14's mid-high.

and as far as boosting that motor.. i wouldn't do it.
