Default which is better high or low compression?

hey guys i have a 95 gsr and want to build my motor to do high compression with nos. i am not interested in turbo or anything. i want to have atleast 240 hp on the block itself and i want to build my head with skunk 2 stage 3 internals. i think that this is better than a turbo so what do you think? let me know please.

Well if you're planning on NOT going turbo. And doing all motor. Then you would want higher compression. Good luck on your build.

well u would def get more power with turbo but if ur gonna go high compression n/a with nitrous ur gonna have to get a real good tune because high compression and nitrous can be a dangerous mix to ur engine with an improper tune...its safer with low compression but u will find u will have ganed much more power if u build it right with high compression....imo N/A is nice if u go all out and do ur engine up but if not turbo is the way to go

NOS works much better with a turbo app. if your intent on getting NOS go turbo (spraying into your intercooler produces good results). High compression plus NOS is dangerous and requires very fine tuning which will end up getting very expensive.
