Dual A/C Pressure Switch Removal
Does anyone know how to replace this switch? I was able to get the plug off but can't seem to get off the switch. Is it a lefty-loosy deal or a pull and tug deal, I don't want to break the sensor out of it's holding and have to replace a line? There is an octagon bolt desing maybe 24mm where the sensor is plugged into.
But, it doesn't appear to turn, looks like it is welded to the high pressure line. Thanks. I am replacing it because my compressor went bad and I had finally got the compressor back on and evacuated the system, filled with freon. It got down to 53 degrees, then started climbing back up, looked under the hood and it was leaking freon thru the dual pressure switch.

If your removing it, your going to replace it right?
Go to autozone or whatever parts store that has the part and look at it. Itle show how its put in\out.

Yeah, I am replacing it, but none of the part stores carry it. I have to wait to honda open to see how much it is. But, they probably want me to pay for it first. I guess I will have to drive 40 minutes up there road and go to the Honda junkyard and see if they have one.
Yes, there is an o-ring in there. I just look up honda ac pressure switch on google, and a site had some pix, so I knew what needed to come off. A little wd40 and vise grips, and it came right.

I didn't replace it, I just used the one that was on the new "used" pressure switch. It wasn't torn or anything. But, it was just below the threads. It is easy to come off.
