wiring k20 in a 92 cx hatch
Hybrid-Racing has a Conversion harness for this swap as well. There is no core harness required.
The problem with a USDM k20a2 motor is the ECU. The USDM ECU has an immobilizer that as of yet cannot be bypassed. There are 3 options, the first is to have an Acura/Honda dealer turn it off for you, and this is a very rare occasion. It has been done, but unless you're good friends with a very knowledgeable guy at the dealership I wouldn't hold your breath for this option. The second option is to use a JDM ITR(K20a) ECU. This ECU has an immobilizer but can be bypassed very easily. The third and best option (but also the most expensive option) is to get a Kpro. This will allow you to eliminate the immobilizer as well as have full tuning capabilities for your motor. You can give us a call if you have any questions. 985-951-7088.
