Default Question bout my VSS sensor!

I was driving my car last night and started to noticed that my tranny wasn't shifting like it normally would, it felt really notchy and i could tell something is wrong. I jacked up my car to find that my tranny is leaking fluid through my VSS sensor. Its not thats its loose, as i can tell that its leaking from the back of the sensor where its has that little rubber grommet where the two wires from the connector run into. Its not a a jurrastic leak, as i've never had a puddle of fluid in my garage, but i think its gotten to the point where its very low on fluid, and i want to know if i have to change the whole thing, or that rubber insert, or if anyone has had this problem. thanks

So the one time i ask a tech question i don't even get any responese, i already know the obvious that i can just swap the VSS for a new one, but im wondering if theirs any other ways to do it? I have to praise honda-tech for the thousands of technical genious's who roam this forum. Sorry my thread isn't about some mad tite jdm ****, but actually something that is worth looking at and learning from. Im gonna go read my haynes manual bitches.

Its sunday, the forum moves slow - and if you spout off with a bad attitude like that, you're not really endearing yourself for anyone to help you out.

The problem is not the VSS, swapping in another one will create the same problem.

http://www.acuraparts247.com/s...ch=no - figure it out.
