ok i have a 91 hatchback with a plain ol 1.5 in it and a 4 speed. the #3 cylinder droped to 30psi 2 days ago and i was wonderin which engines would fit with the least of problems. i would perfer a vtech cuz i kno they hold up alot better. not lookin for anything crazy, maybe just a 1.6 vtech. thanks!

 

the b-series motors are the way to go. being a 91 4 speed with a 1.5 i wouldnt know
exactly which b-series motor would be the easiest, but you would want to start by looking at the jdm b16a and the b18a1. these two swaps are usually the easiest ones to do
depending on the exact car. to do more research go to http://www.hasport.com
you can find all wiring and hardware info there. they also sell the highest quality
motor mounts made.

the d16z6 motor will bolt up to your tranny use your bracket from the timing belt side for the motor mount. motor rated about 130hp from 92-95 civic ex, and also get the computer so you v-tec will work properly the swap is quit easy good luck
