I know this sounds stupid, but how do i find out what year my engine is?

 

There are dates stamped on the block behind the middle of the header. There are some dates on the front of the cylinder head too.

 

is in where the circles are on top of the headers

 

it says No,3 91 behind the headers, does that mean my engine is from a '91 lude?

from what i have read, honda motors are produced 1 year before they go into the car. so a motor stamped 94 is in reality going into a 95 car which would make the motor a 95... if that makes any sense

 

Im looking for a downpipe for a 92-96 VTEC lude., And Im selling a set of UNUSED ceramic DC sport headers for an H23.
