You will not make that motor do this.....not saying it can't be done, but if you have to ask teh question, then you are not goign to be able to do it. More time, money, and trouble than its worth. Plus you would have to completely strip your car to the frame

it's actually quite easy but sense most people on here are not for the SOHC or the all motor you might wana check D-series.org there are quite a few people on there in the low 12 and high 11 range. hell Bisi is in the 8's with a single cam F22 motor.

Bolt the motor onto the back of a skateboard an' let 'er rip!

But really, yeah it could be done definately, but it'll cost sooo much more to make it happen on a d16z6 - all motor that is. Turbo would help a lot if your set on the d16, but all motor I personally would look for other alternatives.

But do whatever you want, your money, your car. Have fun, gl.

Here's a good starting place.

Plenty of info to get going on.

If you REALLY want to do it... Run some high compression, around 13.0:1, and a P&P head and huge cam. Might want to get with some NA D series guys, like Bisimoto...

If your serious about a killer single cam setup, i have one for you. Brand new 12.5:1 CR 79mm monster Z6 for sale, complete with tranny, clucth, Bisi header, all you have to do is drop this thing in. Plus i have another short block that is built all it needs is a head. $5500 for everything.

Yeah, I mean hell dude.. Bisi did it with a freakin 2.2l so that means it should be a cakewalk with 1.6l. These people must be stupid. I see Z6's in the 11's all day all motor. Ignore these fools.

The question is...how much time, knowledge, and money will be needed to make a z6 run in the 11's N/A. This just doesnt seem to be practical for someone inexperienced in building motors is the point everyone is trying to get across. But hey if your all about that single cam... be unique and make that monster fly cant knock ya for trying to do somthing different.

You could do it, but it will be high compression on race gas and in a completely stripped crx hf...
