Default h22A 94 accord help needed.

IceManAccord here, lost my pass to my other account Anyhow, I ran into 1 problem, and have 1 question. First the question, will they be releasing a 6 speed tranny for the h22 anytime soon, that will be able to be put into a 94 accord ? That'd be awesome ! For the problem, my brake lights just wont go off, I think the switch inside the master cylinder isn't being released because my Cylinder is going out. Is this probably the case ? Let me know, it'd be greatly appreciated.

6 speed...probably not.

What do you mean your brake lights won't go off? As in, you push the pedal and you get no brake lights?

Nah, they won't turn off lol. Sorry, used the wrong word. No matter what I do the brake lights won't turn off. My brake pedal goes down to the floor sometimes...

What I would try is after releasing your foot from the pedal try and lift up on the pedal as it may be still activating the brake lights. It could be a bad switch or maybe a bad fuse. Check your grounds, bulbs and fuses.

As for the pedal sinking to the ground it could be anything from air in the brake lines to a bad master cylinder. In most cases a sinking pedal is indicative of a bad master cylinder.

Yes, good deal. However, do you think having a bad master cylinder will cause the lights to stay on ? This all happened because I was following a Izuzu full for drunk girls heading to they're house, and they found it funny to throw water bottles out the window, causing me to slam on my breaks when they had hit my windshield and then breaked, I wasn't sure if they were breaking hard so I smashed it so I wouldn't rear-end them. After that, my break lights never went off O.o

Again, I would lift up on the brake pedal and go from there...you may have broken the MC from mashing it as it may have been on its last leg. Normally speaking mashing on your brake pedal shouldn't cause any disfunction as that is what it was made to handle .

I tried pulling up the brake pedal, no luck. The tail lots got hot enough to melt the housing for the socket, the dual fillament bulbs. Pretty lame, I need to figure out how Ill put the sockets back into the back of the Tail lights after I get this all sorted out. I'd like to just sell this car and get a totally stock accord, no more head aches
