Default Greddy Air Diversion Panel??

I was browsing through Greddy's website and saw this new piece. I did a search and couldn't find anything about it. Anyone using it?

I can't link from the page, as it just links to greddy.com

I figured more people in here would be using it as opposed to the "other" integra forum

for 64 bucks it is pretty cheap, and if it aids in cooling well then...

It is a good idea to keep as much air from going around the radiator, and more of it going through the radiator.

$49 here.. still kinda expensive considering a $3 roll of duct tape would get the job done (Well, you get the idea..)

right click, select properties and then copy/paste the link.

Chris F's link is so much better for pix of it and also a better price!. We made one before outta scrap tin/scrap metal and I think it works just as good. You just want to cover all those extraneous holes at the top of the rad support.

Duct tape, as mentioned also, would do the same thing but be unbling....

Do we really have a problem with cooling on the ITR w/the OEM dissipator?

Gramps...

Some locals here in Vancouver have expressed that the ITR tends to overheat rather easily during HPDE's but I feel it is more likely due to the fact that their cummulative modifications (high compression, big cams, unshielded SS headers, higher rev limits etc.) have produced too much heat for the OEM system to dissipate.

While this "cooling plate" (as referred to by carbing) isn't going to be the end all solution, I feel it is a worthwhile modification to compliment the OEM radiator and/or aftermarket unit. From various JDM sources, FWIW, they advertize as much as a 15% increase in efficiency.

...."every little bit helps...."

I'm probably just too slow to notice a cooling deficit.

Or too fast, the extra air helps.

When living in Texas I'd have to run the heater on the car to keep it below half-way on the OEM gauge. Back then it was bone stock except for catback and alignment.

I've heard other people say something similar. However, at Hype R Fest this year and on a couple of occasions during Seat Time events, it was about 125 on the ground at Summit Point.

I don't understand what the difference would be in modifications and driving style that'd make such a difference. But I'm not going to argue about it. Clearly, if you need more air, you just need it!

Needle stayed below centre even though I was doing my usual 9500 redline.

It's going to vary a lot given your coolant mixture. (water/coolant)

50/50 will be hotter
25/75 will be cooler

Dont think it will make much differences whether your radiator is half or full size does it?
