This happens to be my first build, and i need as many pointers and as much help as i can get,(i have searched also, and have learned more than enough,but still have unanswered questions.) the target motor is a b16a2, which i just got yesterday, i dont have a tranny yet, the head is complete minus the im(will be getting next week,also complete) my main question is if im going to dissasemble my head to put on a whole new valvetrain, what do i do? do i just put in the new cams,cam gears,valves, etc and torque them down to the correct settings, and is that it or do they have to be ajusted,set, or rotated a certain way? and for the block is there anything special,or is there anything i should know before assembling, and also is there anyone that can give me a good tool's list for assembling the head and block, any help and all pointers are greatly apprec. remember my block is dissasembled and this is my very first motor build.all threads welcome, thanks.

Pick up a HELMS manual and follow those step when it comes to assembling the head, try searching some more, there might be good info in the sticky at the top of this forum

buy the helms.. it tells you everything..

and no im not been a dick.. its just that people are not going to give you answers that they have already answered many many times before.. the archives have a bunch of imformation .. good luck
