actually, there is F series motors for the accords, just not the RWD S2000 motors.

Never sold in the states - but look up the F20B. I think they had a 220 HP trim of that motor in the Accord Euro-R.

do you even pay attention when you type? What you wrote had nothing to do with his question.

i think ur talking about f22(which is the sohc engine that comes stock on the older accord)

there is also a f22b which is the jdm dohc engine. i forgot about the differences about the f22b and the h22..

uh... you do realize that every 4-cyl Accord from 1990-2002 has been an f-series? f22a, f22b, f23a...

I've heard Honda used the F series from the accords for the original prototype motor for the S2000, that is why the motor they ended up with is an F series. But, by the time they were finished, it was nothing like the F from the accord so an accord tranny will definately not bolt up.

the b series spins opposite way

to answer the main question, any tranny can be mated to any motor within reason, provided that you get custom machine work done.

in this case it doesnt matter because the f20c spins the opposite of the accord f motor

i know you thought you had stumbled across some brilliant undiscovered concept and just expected it to fit together like legos.

but life cant allways be ******** and pizza

I have seen an s2000 engine bolted up to a FWD tranny without what you call "custom machine work". It bolts right up.

Just letting him know that a FWD tranny will bolt up, but that is not all that needs to be done. There is much more work after that.
