How to tell if it's an LSD tranny
Check the tranny code.
The most common is probably the m2b4 tranny.

Also both wheels should spin the same way if the car is jacked up and you turn it by hand.

thanks guys. The tranny I have is separate from the swap. I've tried to look on the tranny but don't see any code anywhere at all?

yeah where the cv joints go into the tranny if you can look through one hole and out the other with no bar or anything in the way its a lsd or burn out on a nice flat road if you make 2 pretty even marks its a lsd or lift the front of the car up put it in neutral and turn one wheel if both spin in the same direction its lsd
