Its for the civics that didnt have a radio stock.
I dont listen to the radio, so I have one - but when I do listen to it, I get my FM stations just fine.

I drive an EF, but I'm looking for some sort of mod as well as I hate the shirt-hanger that sticks out of my roof...

Some things I looked at was taking the 2004-5 3dr hatch's antenna and wiring that in, but it seems like i would need some sort of an adapter...?

Also, I checked the window-antenna from a 2000 Accord. Is this a good idea? Anyone with experience?

My advice on the shark fin, though...originally I hunted down the idea, but thought about something. Shouldn't a honda stay a honda?

i have an antena on my boat the just mounts with double stick tape to the inside of the boat, you could use this and mount it in the fender or bumper.

I was kinda thinking the fender would be bad, why not just do it in the window? I'll probably go for that then throw window tint over it...

Any idea for sources?

when i bought my block off plate, i tried to pull out my oem antenna. well, it broke. so , i ordered another oem antenna. i have my oem anetnna hidden underneath the 2 middle vents in my ej1. i pick up all my stations like normal. and remember , if u use my idea, you need to cover all metal stuff with plastic or tape. it will keep engine noise down and other noises.

Autoloc makes a hidden antenna, it would be good if you want the block off plate.

I have one on my car, but I get really crappy reception no matter what in my town.

I just ran it to my radio and ran the ground to a good spot. It sticks really good on the windshield, its pretty strong.

some cars didn't come with radios so therefore no antenna was installed....thus reason for block plate at radio and antenna

I'm just going the cheap way...

Great Stuff followed by bondo for a look of it never existing there...

Followed by the 04 civic SI stub in the back.

Unless I find the accord window antenna really sexy, but I like the stub more.
