Default Reassembly and break in? Tips??

Im reassembling my motor this weekend, I got the helms and 2 mechanics with over 30 years experience helping, but i was just wondering if there is anything in peticular i need to look for and make sure i dont forget, What kind of oil should i use to break it in?? i normally run synthtic but i kno i cant break it in on that, keep the stock wieght or change and what brand? Its a build motor, crower rods, crank, wiseco pistons, sleeved, turbo'd, all that good stuff, any suggestions, and the tranny wont go in with the engine will it? I have had the trans out twice and it doesnt look like it would fit,

anybodys .02 would be appreciated

Thanks

I say stick with Synthetic for 500 miles and then get an oil change. Go easy for the first five hundred miles. Some people suggest using non-synthetic. But if you're already using synthetic, go ahead and keep using it......

no do now use a synthetic, you need an extremely heavy weight like 50W make sure all your bearings and caps are the right size and good luck
