NEED HELP!!! OBD0 CARBURATOR NEEDS TO BE REWIRED TO AN OBD2 MOTOR...
Ok this is my short problem. Basically I got a 2000 d16y8 motor which is obd2, in my obd0 ef civic hatch dx. The y8 motor is vtec so I decided to convert my car to obd1 with the use of a conversion harness and run a chipped p28 ecu. Everything went fine until I got till the last part of my swap which is the carburator on ef... how would i rewire the obd2 injectors and remove the carburator? Basically converting from carburated to fuel injected...
Thanks for reading and plz let me know ASAP cuz i cant drive my car until I figure this one out...

When you say carb, and dx, are you sure that you just dont have a multi point dx? If so, I can do that swap for you at rywire.com
It requires your y8 harness, and your dx harness.
Give us a call

The car is a 1991 Ef Civic Hatch Dx... So as I look at it, it looks to me as a carburator. Correct me if im wrong... But I just need to know basically how to rewire it to obd2 fuel injection standard...

yes it has fuel injectors on the manifold i just checked... so how do i rewire that for the d16y8 motor?
Just curious why you would convert it to obd2?
And your motor is DPFI (dual-point fuel injection). You will need to convert to MPFI (multi-port fuel injection).
then you convert to obd1. or / And you want to run obd2 injectors only or the whole system to obd2?
I am confused on what you want to do exactly.

Okay reread it.
You are can use obdo injectors or obd1 if you want
. I forget if obd1 and 2 are the same sorry.

ok
yeah its a MPFI conversion, It's not carborated, it's dual point fuel injection.
So you'll need a MPFI ECU (si ecu, pm6)
You can use OBD0 injectors on that with an injector resistor box, and i suggest you do.
And you'll need an MPFI OBD0 (si) Distributor to accomidate that PM6 ECU.
If you would really like to upgrade to OBD1 we can do that as well. (Go OBD1, not OBD2)
Rywire can assist you with all of it and we won't sell you anything you don't need. We get our customers running, you won't find better tech support. Give us a call.

this is how to do a conversion harness!!!
These are some suggestions.
After converting to MPFI

After converting to obd1. Hook up obd1 injectors (more wiring will be needed to get them to work correctly), hook up obd1 distributor (more wiring will be needed), use a p28 ecu (or something smiliar po6 converted to p28), oxygen sensor needs to be converted to 4 wire (I think), vtec stuff will be need to be added, may be forgetting something. More wiring will be needed to be doen with this option but you have better tuning options.
Stay obdo. Use 88-91 SI/EX distributor (will need to modify some legs on it, and I believe its plug and play), use SI/EX injectors w/resistor box (less wiring will be needed then the obd1), use a pm6 chipped for vtec you will need to figure out how to get vtec to work correctly, otherwise use pm6 not chipped and use a vfac or rpm activator.
Pretty easy I think to do either
. Purchasing a conversion harness makes life easy. Making your own saves money for headers, intakes and exhaust
